We look forward to welcoming you to Sage Valley Golf Club and are prepared to make your visit memorable! To familiarize you with Sage Valley and enhance your experience, please make note of the traditions and customs of the Club and we ask that you respect and observe them during your visit.
Sage Valley is a Club which has at its underpinning the expectation that all Members and their guests will conduct themselves at the proper level of decorum at all times. Our Members and their guests who frequent the Club should not expect to be solicited for business, autographs, or photographs.
Please note and abide by the Sage Valley Dress Code expectations. These expectations apply for the duration of your visit on our grounds to include arrival and departure.
Denim is never permitted on Club grounds. Gentlemen are not permitted to wear shorts during the months of December, January, and February.
Gentlemen are expected to wear a collared shirt tucked in at all times while in and around the Clubhouse, as well as while on the golf course. Flip-flops and sandals are not considered appropriate attire for gentlemen. Gentlemen are asked to kindly remove their caps/hats when entering the Clubhouse.
Ladies are considered to be in appropriate attire when wearing sports blouses or shirts and slacks, skorts, or shorts.
Those wishing to make use of the Fitness Center may change in their cottage or in the facilities located in the Fitness Center. Exercise apparel may not be worn in and around the Clubhouse.
Main Dining Room- Gentlemen are required to wear a blazer and slacks when dining in the Main Dining Room in the evening. Ties are not required. (Blazers are not required for dinner service in other areas in the Club.)
Grill – Collared shirt tucked in and long pants.

All charges and fees associated with your visit will be applied to your host Member’s club account.
You may pay for items purchased in the Golf Shop or in the Gun Club Shop with cash, check or credit card if desired. Caddie fees may be paid for by cash or check in the Golf Shop if it is desired to not apply these charges to the host Member’s account. If Caddie fees are settled with a credit card, there will be a 3% convenience fee applied. The Club is not able to accept payment for any other fee or charges outside of applying the charges to the Member’s account.
Every player will be assigned a professional Caddie to assist them as they play their round. We feel that the course is best experienced when walked but players that require the assistance of a cart may request one in the Golf Shop. Players using a cart will still have a Caddie assigned who will carry their bag and walk alongside the cart.
Caddies receive a base rate of $120 per loop. A player may reward their Caddie in recognition for exceptional service by adding an additional amount to their loop fee to a maximum of $200 total. All Caddie compensation must take place through the Golf Shop, as no direct payment to the Caddie is permitted at any time. The Golf Staff will assist you with the process of compensating your Caddie.
Players are requested to have a golf bag suitable for carrying and void of excess clubs and balls. “Tour Bags” are discouraged and will be changed out to a courtesy bag for the round.
Caddies are schooled in the expectations of etiquette on the course and players are asked to comply with any feedback provided by them.
Golf at Sage Valley should be enjoyed at a reasonable pace of play. It is understood that not everyone will play at the same pace, but it is expected that should any group be approached by another group playing at a faster pace, the group shall always be allowed to play through as soon as practical.
Sage Valley maintains a Non-Tipping policy. We ask that you respect this policy by refraining from offering gratuities when being served throughout the Club.
We ask that you respect other Members and guests by refraining from using a mobile device while on the grounds or in the Clubhouse except in the locker rooms or cottages. Phones should not be seen in one’s hands or on one’s person except in above-noted areas.
